Pattern data

The interactive sequencer runs in your browser. A shared pattern is encoded in the URL you choose to copy. The site does not require an account and does not upload the grid to an application database.

Audio recording

Recording uses the browser’s Web Audio and MediaRecorder interfaces. The resulting file is assembled locally and downloaded by your browser. Conway Cadence does not receive or store the recording.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 is configured with this site’s measurement identifier G-GVZBL570RB. Analytics storage is denied by default. Choosing “No thanks” stores that choice locally and loads no Google script. Choosing “Allow analytics” loads Google’s tag only for this identifier and permits an aggregate page view. Declining does not disable any sequencer feature.

Gameplay data boundary

Conway Cadence does not send your grid, locked cells, BPM, subdivision, seed label, shared pattern payload, mixer levels, recording, or audio to Google Analytics. The consent controller contains no gameplay-event forwarding path.

Stored preference and withdrawal

Your accepted or declined choice is stored in local storage so the prompt does not repeat. Use the persistent “Analytics on/off · settings” control on the main page or this Privacy page to change it. Withdrawing sets analytics storage back to denied, enables Google’s property-disable flag, removes the tag loader, makes future site analytics calls inert, and attempts to clear this site’s analytics cookies. Withdrawal cannot erase aggregate data sent before it.
